Chinese rail transit lands in the United States

It is reported that the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MBTA) officially approved that it will purchase 284 subway vehicles from CNR and equip the Boston Red Line and the Orange Line subway.

This is the first time that China's rail transportation equipment companies have won the bid for the world in the United States and landed in the United States.

The 284 subway trains, including 152 orange line cars and 132 red line cars, were tendered in May this year. CNR and global rail transit equipment manufacturers bid separately. In the end, China CNR won and became China's only orbital equipment manufacturing company that landed in the United States. This is also the order of rail transit equipment from Europe and the United States developed countries after China CNR obtained orders for French tank cars in 2011.

Since then, China CNR rail transit equipment has achieved global coverage in six continents in Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, South America, and Oceania.
