Deep groove ball bearings have the lowest friction loss and higher speed limit than other types of bearings of the same size. In the case of high rotational speed and not suitable for thrust ball bearings, such bearings can be used to withstand pure axial load. If the manufacturing precision is improved, and solid cages such as bakelite, bronze, and hard aluminum are used, the rotational speed can be increased.
