Bangpu's annual production of 35,000 tons of ternary precursor project is planned to cover an area of ​​450 mu. After the production, the annual disposal of used batteries will be 100,000 tons, and the annual output of ternary precursors will be 35,000 tons. With an annual output value of more than 2.5 billion, it can generate annual tax revenue of more than 135 million.

2. Smart energy: increase the capital of Foster to expand the production of high-end ternary lithium battery production line
On the evening of August 10, Smart Energy disclosed a plan for a fixed increase of 3.114 billion yuan. According to the plan, the total amount of funds raised by the company will not exceed 3.14 billion yuan, of which 2.514 billion yuan will be used for the R&D and industrialization project of high energy density power storage lithium battery with an annual output of 3G watt hours in Far East Foster New Energy Co., Ltd. The total investment of the project is 3.889 billion yuan.
The company will expand the 3Gwh three-element cylindrical lithium battery production line in two phases. The infrastructure + equipment investment will exceed 2.5 billion yuan, and the average 1Gwh investment will be 830 million yuan. Usually, it takes 3-4 billion yuan to invest in the 1Gwh18650 battery production line. There are two reasons for the high production cost of the company. First, all foreign advanced equipment is used, and the equipment is highly automated. Second, the company is supporting the construction of cap, steel shell and pack production lines to create an integrated production supply chain from “structural hardware – cell-packageâ€.
The company's current production capacity has reached 1.7GWh, and the 18650 battery capacity is the first in the country. On August 26, Hengdian Dongfang released a number of announcements. The announcement showed that the company plans to invest 3 billion yuan to invest in a 6GWh high-capacity lithium-ion power battery project. This is after the investment of more than 400 million yuan in December 2015 to build 100 million high-capacity lithium-ion battery production lines of 18650 type, Hengdian East Magnetic once again added a focus on the ternary lithium battery.
According to the announcement, Hengdian East Magnetic plans to add 10 high-capacity lithium-ion power battery production lines, 5 modular automated assembly lines, and 1999 sets/sets of various production and testing equipment to achieve an annual output of 6GWh high-capacity lithium. The production capacity of ion power batteries, including 150,000 sets of passenger car battery system integration products and 20,000 sets of commercial vehicle battery system integration products.
The project was implemented in January this year and is scheduled to be completed by December 2019 with a construction period of four years. After being fully completed, it is estimated that the sales revenue will reach 6 billion yuan and the total annual profit will be 737 million yuan.
4. GEM: Acquisition of ternary precursor production line and Bangpu layout ternary lithium battery
Jingmengmeimei, a subsidiary of GEM, and Jiangsu Kailik, a subsidiary company, achieved full control of Yuyao Xingyou Metal in July. Xingyou Metal has an annual production capacity of 4,000 tons of nickel-cobalt-manganese (NCM) ternary power battery material production line, with reliable advanced technology and mature market system.
The acquisition of GEM is aimed at expanding the production scale of power battery materials for new energy vehicles, forming a complete battery material system such as tricobalt tetroxide, NCM precursor, NCA precursor, and lithium nickel cobalt manganate cathode material.
On October 20, GEM and Bonp Group signed the “Strategic Cooperation Agreement for Entrusted Processing of Cathode Materials for Precursor Materialsâ€.
