Mazda recalls more than 100,000 cars with Beijing Hyundai

The recall announcement revealed that Mazda Motors Co., Ltd. (Appointed FAW Mazda Automobile Sales Co., Ltd.) and Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. submitted a recall report to AQSIQ, recalling them from January 15, 2008 to March 31, 2009 in China. A total of 14,333 imported Mazda3 were produced between the two countries, and a total of 80,041 Mazda3 domestically produced between February 14, 2008 and February 12, 2010.

Vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to poor installation of the ground terminal of the front wiper motor, deform the ground terminal and its guide. If you continue to use it in this state, it may cause the ground circuit to fail, causing the front wiper not to work. FAW Mazda Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd. will install a grounding wire on the front wiper motor of the recalled vehicle for free.

On the same day, Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. decided to recall some of the name-named sedans produced from August 1, 2010 to October 31, 2010, totaling 9,280 vehicles, from June 15, 2011 to December 14, 2011.

During the running of the vehicle, due to a defective engine water temperature sensor, the engine warning light may turn on and the water temperature indicator may indicate an inaccurate phenomenon. In extreme cases, the engine may be damaged. Beijing Hyundai will replace the water temperature sensor for free in the recalled area to eliminate defects.
