Self Adhesive labels are usually coated with an acrylic, rubber or water-based glue. Sticky labels can either be applied permanently or temporally.
Self adhesive labels can printed on by laser printers, inkjet printers, photocopiers or handwritten. Laser printers and photocopiers are a hot process and we recommend that A4 sheets of labels are only printed once for best results. The heat process evaporates the moisture in the adhesive each time it is passed through the printer.
Alfa Laval receives orders for PureNOx water treatment solutions for five super-large ethane carriers
Alfa Laval's PureNOx water treatment solution, PureNOx Prime, was selected for the exhaust gas recirculation system of five ultra-large ethane carriers to be operated by United Ethane Carriers (UEC).
The operator is a joint venture between Jaccar Holdings and the Hartmann Group and will be responsible for the commercial operation management of the new vessels. The shipowner is JHW Engineering & Contracting.
It is reported that these new ships will deploy exhaust gas recirculation systems as a way to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. Engine provider Mann has selected Alfa Laval's recently developed PureNOx Prime technology for water treatment in exhaust gas recirculation.
Each vessel will be equipped with a PureNOx Prime 100 system, the smallest of the three capabilities of the system, including a centrifugal separator. PureNOx Prime will be integrated into the ship's exhaust gas recirculation engine.
The five new vessels will be built by Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industries and will meet stringent Tier III NOx emission limits when operating in the North American Coastal Pollution Control Zone.
